Kimberley Lacey - Graphic + Web Designer

graphic + web designer

Born and raised in Lunenburg County Nova Scotia I started my design career in beautiful Kings County. As a graduate with honours from NSCC Offset Printing course at Kingstec, I jumped into the exciting and extremely fast paced newspaper industry with Mailman Publishing, Bridgetown, NS, and later Kentville Publishing, New Minas, NS in the Annapolis Valley and learned the now lost craft of laying out ads and pages by hand. I absolutely loved the experience and found it to be a great asset when it came time to transition to computer layout.

Although I loved living in the Valley, I eventually came back home to Lunenburg County and enjoyed 18 years working and designing for the award winning local paper and commercial print division at Lighthouse Publishing, now owned by Advocate Media and shared in and won many awards and accolades along the way.

In recent years, I have focused more on graphic + web design, branding, logo design, promotional pieces, and social media marketing as well as learning new programs and apps to help clients with their needs.

When I'm not at my computer you will often find me cooking, trying out a new recipe or working on one of many crafts. I also spend as much time possible with my loving husband and two beautiful daughters. My youngest, Madison, a social butterfly in her first year at Acadia University, and my oldest, Michelle, a kind-hearted young lady who recently graduated with her bachelor degree in Bio-Veterinary Science from Dalhousie University, Faculty of Agriculture, now working at South Shore Veterinary Clinic, my young Golden Retriever Willow and my 3 kitties Lotus, Bean and Effie.

I look forward to using my knowledge and experience to help your business grow. Reach out for a free consultation.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.
And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
